The Guilds : Blacksmith & Mercenaries

Linear Introduction : The game walks you through the first 5 Character Levels and the basic functions of guild mechanics.

Time Line :

CharLvl 1

Discover that the Mercenary guild is recruiting.
Find the Mercenary Guild.
Discover you can't join the Mercenary guild until you prove you can fight.
Discover weapons and armor must be made, not bought.
Find the Blacksmith guild.
Learn how to mine and smelt.
Be accepted into the Blacksmith guild.
Gain access to the forge.
Learn how to make ingots into a weapon.
Equip the new weapon and go back to the Fighter's guild.
Win a battle against an easy enemy.
Be accepted into the Mercenary guild.
MC_Q1 - Bounty on Bandits : Collect 5 Bandit Tokens. Bandits wander; each is worth 1/5 the XP needed to level.
Turn in Bandit Tokens for a gold reward and an increase in standing with the Mercenaries.

Rep Gain : Blacksmiths
Everything you do for the blacksmiths gains you Reputation with them.

Blacksmith NPC 1 - Forge
* BS_Q1 : 10R : Obtain Basic Pick
* BS_Q2 : 10R : Gather some Ore
* BS_Q3 : 10R : Smelt some Ingots
* BS_Q4 : 10R : Gain access to Forge

Blacksmith NPC 2 - Mines
* BS_Q5 : 10R : Explore Basic Mine
* BS_Q6 : 10R : Gather some Crystals
* BS_Q7 : 10R : Cut some Gems
* BS_Q8 : 10R : Redeem Gems for an Item

Blacksmith NPC 3 - Gem Merchant
* BS_Q9 : 10R : Create Full Set of Equipment
* BS_Q10 : 11R : Complete Basic Apprenticeship


The player first can only mine 40 ingots worth of ore.
This prevents them from creating all available gear right away.
- Cannot make body armor (45 igots)
- Weapon + Shield = 40
- Weapon + Helm + Boots = 40

Rep Gain : Mercenaries
Everything you do for the mercenaries gains you Reputation with them.

Mercneary NPC 1 - Bounties
Mobs that drop tokens are wandering events, and do not show up in random encounters.
This way, no extra tokns clutter the inventory since they can't be sold. (TokenCount)
